Julian opened Aldergate's first office on Lamb's Conduit Street in 1998 with a card table, a kettle, and a conviction that estate agency could be done gently. Twenty-eight years later, the firm has grown to nine partners and kept the kettle.
He personally leads every valuation west of the Heath, sits on the borough conservation panel, and still walks first-time buyers through their offer line by line.
